Job Description

Responsible for managing and nurturing existing customer relationships while actively promoting and selling life insurance products through assigned leads. The role emphasizes deep customer servicing, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, and maintaining long-term, trust-based client engagement to achieve sales and retention targets. Post-onboarding, candidates will go through an intensive training program focused on the insurance industry, comprehensive product knowledge, effective sales processes, and best practices in customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate leads and drive life insurance sales through assigned bank branches.
• Meet customers alongside bank staff to pitch and sell insurance products.
• Achieve sales targets across metrics like New Business, Persistency, Product Mix, and SP Activation.
• Build strong relationships with branch heads and staff to ensure consistent business flow.
• Conduct customer engagement activities including worksite marketing and corporate stalls.
• Ensure accurate and timely login of proposals and resolve discrepancies to meet issuance timelines.
• Train and support branch staff on product knowledge and and operational workflows.
• Address customer concerns and coordinate for issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory norms and maintain ethical standards in business practices.

Eligibility

Minimum 1 year of experience in selling financial products

Skills Required

Communication Skills
Ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing, to diverse audiences.

Sales Acumen
Proven ability to identify leads, build rapport, negotiate effectively, and close deals to achieve revenue targets.

Basic Computer Proficiency
Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with email and internet navigation.

Team Building
Ability to foster positive relationships and work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.

Leadership
Capacity to take initiative, inspire others, and guide projects to successful completion.
