Job Description

Responsible for managing and nurturing existing customer relationships while actively promoting and selling life insurance products through assigned leads. The role emphasizes deep customer servicing, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, and maintaining long-term, trust-based client engagement to achieve sales and retention targets. Post-onboarding, candidates will go through an intensive training program focused on the insurance industry, comprehensive product knowledge, effective sales processes, and best practices in customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their financial needs and offer appropriate insurance solutions.
• Achieve sales targets through leads provided by the Branch Operations and Call Center teams.
• Regularly engage with existing customers to review financial arrangements and identify opportunities to upsell.
• Meet product mix targets as defined by the organization’s sales strategy.
• Support customers through the entire sales lifecycle, including claim settlements and post-sales servicing.
• Ensure high standards of business quality and and maintain policy persistency through renewals and customer retention efforts.
• Consistently achieve the minimum expected sales targets through regular field visits and customer interactions.
• Stay compliant with internal processes and adopt new technology tools and mobile-based sales systems as part of the Sales Management Process.

Eligibility

Minimum 1 year of experience in any field sales role

Skills Required

Communication Skills
Ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing, to diverse audiences.

Sales Acumen
Proven ability to identify leads, build rapport, negotiate effectively, and close deals to achieve revenue targets.

Basic Computer Proficiency
Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with email and internet navigation.

Team Building
Ability to foster positive relationships and work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.

Leadership
Capacity to take initiative, inspire others, and guide projects to successful completion.
