Job Description

Responsible for managing and driving sales performance within a specific geographical area, ensuring the achievement of business targets and market share growth for pharmaceutical products. This role involves executing sales strategies, leading and developing a field team, building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, and maintaining strict adherence to company policies and industry regulations. Post-onboarding, you'll engage in a comprehensive induction program covering in-depth pharmaceutical product knowledge, area-specific market analysis, effective sales execution strategies, and best practices in team leadership and operational compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve area sales targets and drive market share growth for pharmaceutical products.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of medical representatives within the assigned area.
• Implement and execute sales strategies and promotional activities effectively at the area level.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare professionals and customers in the area.
• Conduct regular field visits and joint working with the sales team to ensure execution excellence.
• Monitor area performance metrics and ensure strict adherence to compliance standards.

Eligibility

Minimum 5-6 years of sales experience, including at least 1-2 years in a team-handling role.

Expertise in implementing sales strategies, driving product promotion, and ensuring target achievement within a defined area.

Capability to develop and execute area-specific sales plans aligned with overall business objectives and market dynamics.

Market Understanding
Comprehensive knowledge of local market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the assigned area.

Field Coaching & Training
Adept at conducting joint field visits and providing on-the-job coaching to enhance team performance and product knowledge.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills for engaging effectively with the sales team and external stakeholders.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Ability to track area sales metrics, analyze data, and provide accurate reports on performance and market insights.
